Characteristics of VOX:

Short battery life and limited output power are common issues with many bugs.
When there are no noises or voices, the transmitter switches into standby mode, allowing the battery to last an extraordinary amount of time.
It consumes just 1.3mA in this condition, but when a sound or speech is detected by its sensitive microphone, it rapidly changes to transmission mode.
There are four different types of batteries that may be used in this programmable voice activated bug:
CR2450 (Button)
CR2477 (Button)
2 x AAA or AA batteries are required (Alkaline)
9V Alkaline/Lithium battery

The button type batteries are highly useful if the item needs to be hidden in a tough, compact space.
Using two AA or two AAA batteries is ideal if the environment is noisy for an extended period of time.

By utilizing 1250mAh batteries, the battery lasts roughly 19-24 hours in continuous transmission mode, and approximately 960 hours or 40 days in standby mode.
It's ideal for things like room surveillance, baby monitoring, and wildlife study.
